NBC Today host Megyn Kelly used her program Monday to take on her former employer, Fox News, over the disclosure that the network signed former host Bill OReilly to a $25 million contract in February after he had paid $32 million to settle a sexual harassment claim.
Kelly opened her show by noting how she complained to Fox News about OReilly, who had disparaged her publicly for writing about her own experiences with sexual harassment at Fox News in her memoir Settle for More.
The abuse of women, the shaming of them, the threatening, the retaliation, Kelly said in her remarks to her audience. The silencing of them after-the-fact. It has to stop.
Kellys book included an account of how former Fox News chief Roger Ailes had made sexual advances toward her early in her tenure at the company. Ailes, who died in May, was fired in 2016 after former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a harassment lawsuit against him.
Kelly was among a number of female Fox News employees who came forward with allegations against Ailes during an internal investigation.
OReilly did not mention Kelly by name, but blasted his then-co-worker for writing about the harassment during a Nov. 15 appearance on CBS This Morning.
Im not interested in litigating something that is finished that makes my network look bad, OReilly said.
In response, Kelly said she sent an email to then-Fox News co-presidents Bill Shine and Jack Abernethy to complain about OReillys remarks, which she believed discouraged women from coming forth with sexual harassment complaints.
I wrote, in part:
Perhaps he didnt realize that his exact attitude of shaming women into shutting the hell up about harassment on grounds that it will disgrace the company is in part how...

I don't think it will work and NBC will eventually cast her aside too.
The victim train has pretty much left the station, she’s trying to grab onto the last car.
Geez. The flailing and screeching. The blathering and raving.
So. Sexism won’t work. What next? What attention grabbing action, words and/or stunts will the woman do next to desperately salvage her failing career?
I vote for a DNA test that proves she is really Rachel Dolenz.
Me Again.
Haha!
And your GQ spread Megyn? Pretty slutty. Your 3 children
must be proud (one day).
Mega Smelly desperate for relevancy to save her job.
This is the same MeeAgain who wears (literally) spaghetti strap lingerie to work sometimes, and has all kinds of “come f-me” photos in her professional portfolio.
Apparently re-inventing herself into being the “Queen of Nice” who hugs everyone wasn’t working out. She’s trying to reinvent herself AGAIN.
LMAO
Be quiet, floozy.
Who?
Maybe if she became head of the DNC and started attacking Trump again...
OReilly was a nasty dude. falafel...Loofah...talk dirty to me to me, honey !! He is vile, all the time pretending to be Mr. Catholic!
Go away, MeAgain.
In Texas, females of her ilk are known as road lizards . . .
I saw she had this on this morning. While I think this story is 1) news worthy 2) relevant and 3) important to societal discussion, I am scratching my head over what NBC and Megyn are going to have to do be relevant. NBC is the one that axed the Weisnstein story. Megyn’s claim to fame for NBC is that she argued with President Trump and now is attacking O’Reilly and her former network. Thats not a deep bench of ideas and will only go so far.
Megyn Kelly Blasts Fox News And Bill O’Reilly Over Sexual Harassment Claims

It just might be me as I don’t care so much for ANY of the parties involved
BUT
I ‘read’ that as she is mad THEY claim she harassed them??
