Oh NOES! Cue the 'Casablanca' clip. Are we supposed to feel guilty that since we're out others have decided to NOT follow the agreement? I feel soooooooo bad. NOT!

a number of other nations have quietly begun ignoring the Paris energy goals, according to a new report out of Canada.

These commitments were contingent on the United States subsidizing everyone's losses. Since we're not footing the bill anymore, they can't afford to meet their energy reduction goals.

Wow!

"...most signatories are ignoring, if not altogether abandoning Paris commitments, undoubtedly because voters in large part put no stock in scary global warming scenarios."

"The populist backlash — a revulsion at top-down governments laden with jet-setting politicians landing in posh places to preach restraint to the masses — has swept America with Trump’s election, Great Britain with Brexit, much of Europe, and Australia."

Mr. Solomon isn't going to get many cocktail party invitations. This is fantastic.

And the signatories have been doing this for years!

The signatories of the 1992 Kyoto climate treaty made a big deal about signing it, did little to nothing to implement it. Of course tried to shame the US about not signing it.
The goal of all these treaties is to cripple the US economy, socialist states start out crippled. Getting the US to do this nonsense levels the economic playing field for them.

As far as I know, the only part of the Paris Accord any but a few Euro-idiots actually followed was to take our money. So they don’t actually have to stop doing anything, since they never really started.

Despite not ratifying kyoto, we were the ONLY nation that actually achieved the targets set in the agreement.

Actually, that would have been the case even if the United States had stayed, unconstitutionally, in. The accord did not target the chief offenders; it preferred the chief moneybag.

The accord like foreign aid is a sneaky way to funnel money to cronies.

And would have been ignoring it anyway, although the press would not then consider it worthy of reporting.

Since Pres. Trump pulled USA out of Paris Agreement, remaining members probably no longer see the Agreement as a cash cow.

Corrections, insights welcome.

The libs said that by abandoning the agreement, Trump lost the leadership of the world on climate change. Evidently, he is the leader.

My favorite part of the article is where Germany had several days with no wind and had a thick fog, couldn’t produce needed energy and had to get some coal powered energy from Poland.

The US never “committed” to anything. Obama only did for himself, he had no power to commit the U.S.

I can say I’m taking pleasure in the “loss” these pompous, sanctimonious fools are experiencing.
