0bama ,,,,, the great divider-in-chief . A real oxymoron .
Was he speaking to BLM?
From my perspective the politics of division was given a higher than before high state in the 2000 election, and all we have seen constantly since then is it has only gotten worse.
Is has two parts. The democrats arrogant sense of entitlement, that the federal government belongs to them, and a new and growing unwillingness of republicans to sit back and accept that.
What do all claims of “bipartisan” and “divisiveness” mean when coming from the mouths of democrats? They mean one thing and one thing only to them - “republicans are not agreeing enough with us”.
Does that mean Obama will condemn and abandon identity politics?
BBC still calls him Prez. I emailed them to correct them.
Besides, isn't this the same man who, several years back at another Virginia rally (2008) was reported to have said, 'If youll stand with me, then I know that we can win Virginia and we can win this election and we can finally bring the change we need to Washington,' Obama told the estimated crowd of 35,000. 'I feel like we got a righteous wind at our backs here.'
Upon checking, one finds this quote from Chairman Mao:
The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.
Was this a mere contribution by Anita Dunn from her favorite "go to philosopher" or was it just familiar reading which crept into the candidate's remarks in Virginia?
