Bad news for MLB, who lose perhaps $1 billion in ad revenue without a NYC-LA series

Anyone else notice that both Texas baseball teams have kick-ass logos? Particularly the Rangers, who's logo IMO is probably the best in all of sports.
I remember the Astros and that cartoonish uniform they wore that made the old Tampa Bay Buccaneers logo look state-of-the-art.

At least Sabitha won’t have to worry about turning down a White House invitation.

The weather is supposed to be over 100 degrees in Los Angeles on game day.

YeeHaw........I’m happy for the Astros. We needed some good news after Harvey and I hope this is a shot in the arm to bring a few smiles back to the good people of Houston and surrounding areas who lost so much.

The smart money would be Dodgers in 6, but the smart money has been wrong a lot this year

The Dodgers are looking forward to the matchup. I'll bet they are. Unless LA goes into another slump, this isn't going to be pretty.

I am here in Southern California and I say Go Astros.
Every illeal and cholo here in SoCal is rooting for “Los Doyers” and I would love to see them go down in 4 games and then see LA burn when the riots begin.

Astros beat Yankees in ALCS, to face Dodgers in World Series
And you know whoever is airing the World Series this year is quietly beating their head against their desk - a Yankees-Dodgers World Series would have been their dream come true, it's been a very long time since the days of Fernando Valenzuela, Ron Guidry and Dave Righetti - and of course, Mr. October.
I'll be rooting for the Astros - the day in which I root for the Dodgers or any other LA team hasn't dawned and never will, and Jose Altuve is a guy who plays the right way.

I watched as the New York Spitters got crushed.
Little bitches. Enjoy your long long lonely ride home.
Houston dominated.

Houston won the NL pennant AND now they’ve won the AL pennant. Is that unique?
Last Monday, before there was going to be a game 7, “standing room only” tickets for tonight’s game were $1,000! Plus, where to park? I can’t even imagine the price for series tickets. Too high for me.

My youngest son met Altuve several times at his gym, working out. He said he was a very nice personable guy.

The Dodgers will be favored. They had two more days to prepare for the Astros and will have home field advantage.
