HOUSTON (KABC) -- The Dodgers will face the Astros in this year's World Series, after Houston took down the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series.
The Astros' 4-0 victory Saturday sets up a World Series between one team, Los Angeles, looking to take its seventh championship title and another still yearning for its first.
The Astros have only played in one World Series previously, losing to the Chicago White Sox in 2005. For that matter, no team from Texas has ever won baseball's ultimate prize.
"This city man, they deserve this," said Houston pitcher Lance McCullers, Jr. shortly after the last inning. "This is awesome."
The Dodgers are looking forward to the matchup.

The weather is supposed to be over 100 degrees in Los Angeles on game day.
YeeHaw........I’m happy for the Astros. We needed some good news after Harvey and I hope this is a shot in the arm to bring a few smiles back to the good people of Houston and surrounding areas who lost so much.

Every illeal and cholo here in SoCal is rooting for “Los Doyers” and I would love to see them go down in 4 games and then see LA burn when the riots begin.

Last Monday, before there was going to be a game 7, “standing room only” tickets for tonight’s game were $1,000! Plus, where to park? I can’t even imagine the price for series tickets. Too high for me.
My youngest son met Altuve several times at his gym, working out. He said he was a very nice personable guy.
The Dodgers will be favored. They had two more days to prepare for the Astros and will have home field advantage.
