Two problems with that:

1. The Islamists successfully convert the EU, militarize it and use it as a platform for attacking the USA with millions more on their side;
2. The backlash towards both Islam and the US culminates with a strongman running the EU, and everything goes back to square one as far as the outcome of WWII, but now with the EU having nukes.

The latter is what the EU elites in particular want. The dancing with the Islamists is a “beneficial crisis” that is engineered to get the people to accede to their wishes.
