MGM — the movie studio? First the Vegas shooting and now Weinstein fiasco. I’ll wager the board of directors are desperate to cover their @sses.
There’s a maxim that says, “When headlines ask a question, the answer is usually no.”
Ellen also has a big sponsorship through MGM. Her face and brand appears on many a slot machine, apparently.
Why hasn’t the breakdown of deaths and injuries from bullet wounds vs stampede/chaos casualties been released. The media is happy that hasnt gotten out. In the 70s, eleven people were killed at a WHO concert with about 19,000 attendees. And no one was shooting at them.
They could be with the local LEO’s.
I read an article the other day that said the two complaints that came from Paddock about the music too loud in the room below happened that afternoon/evening, not the previous night. Before I put the quotes, there were two sets of guards on the 31st floor that visited room 134 for a noise complaint. Did the guards visit the 32nd floor to reassure Paddock they’d handled the complaint? What did they see?
Also, on a cbs interview, one of the swat team made mention there were ‘lots of drills’ and ‘drill bits’ and tool boxes (plural).
Garzon, from San Diego, in room 31-134 seemed to have made it to the 31st floor - did he see Campos on the 31st floor?
: “After that encounter [two warnings by two diff sets of security guards], the group headed down to the concert. Once there, the taco shop owner had what he describes as a bad feeling and left the music festival, leaving his wife and friends.
He was making his way to the 31st floor when the shots rang out from the 32nd floor.
“I just started sweating super bad, I wanted to get away and like I said, I didnt try to make a scene about it. I said, ‘Hey guys, Im going to go back to the room.’
“As Im leaving the hotel, my wife is calling me screaming...
He “couldn’t get back to the hotel for at least 14 hours?

and we also have:
this article in the KansasCity.com, that appears to put Garzon and Floyd Conrade in the same room? or maybe Garzon in 135 and Conrade in 134?
“Most of the time he stayed away from the window.
“He heard officers over the radio announce the gunmans room number. It was one digit off from his: 31-134 and adjoining room 135. Stephen Paddock, the shooter, was in 32-134 and adjoining room 135.
“Thats when he knew the gunfire hed heard had been coming from directly above.

finally, here’s a two and a half hour scanner video/audio. (the guy got tossed out of his hotel for filming so you’re going to have to bear with his intermittent complaining about that). He says about an hour and a half in that he hasn’t heard any shots since he first started filming. The audio portion is pretty good, and I don’t hear any shots either. All during the video, we hear 2 hours of repeated calls into the PD of ‘active shooter’ ( after the perp was dead and involving some 60 establishments on the strip)

Shooting time was about 10 minutes, yet the police didn’t enter his room until 52 minutes later, right..?
What was happening from 10-52 minutes..?
I heard something so crazy I don’t know if I should believe it:
“The police were waiting FOR PERMISSION from MGM to go up to floor 32”...!!!
Now, I did know all about the lavish Casino contributions to the Sherrif. And yes, I know that money will buy INFLUENCE, sure, but...PERMISSION..?
That really blew my hair back, a little.
That would point to a level of casino control over such things that is....well....EXOTIC.
And I’m no biz-hating Marxist, not by about 100 miles.
The Harvey Weinstein story took this off the front page - by design.
when we’ve stayed in vegas, we always hang the “do not disturb” sign....I would be mad if a maid decided to just come in anyway....
