Spent a year at Walter Reed during the war with Iraq as a Red Cross volunteer. I was on the amputation ward, Ward 52, the Snake pit. The courage, the kindness and selfness I saw was through the roof!
A life lesson that was the best life lesson I ever learned. It was a gift from God to serve that 1%
