George W. Bush hinted Thursday at his dissatisfaction with Donald Trump, complaining in a New York City speech that 'bullying and prejudice' has become a caustic norm in American public life.

At an event hosted by the George W. Bush Institute, the 43rd U.S. president rattled off a thinly veiled litany of complaints about the current commander-in-chief, focusing on both his tone and his isolationist policy choices.

I am now officially ashamed of my vote in 2000 and 2004!

I feel your pain. I carried water for Dubya with my liberal friends up to the mid-terms in 2006. When he fired Rumsfeld, I dropped the buckets for good.

Bush is a four letter word to me, all of 'em.

Looking back on it, the only votes I'm really proud of are for Reagan, especially 1980. At the time, I was stationed in Germany, and lived nearly 30 miles from base. My German neighbors pleaded with me to vote for Carter, they were sure that RR would start WWIII.

In the weeks leading up to the election, I engaged them in debate (in their language, my German was pretty good having been there nearly 4 years) 2-3 times a week at the local watering hole. I enjoyed the heck out of our conversations, and they finally came around to my side on Inauguration Day, when the hostages were released.

“islam is a religion of peace”

no, with those words alone (indicating his mindset and policy) Shrub is firmly in the bottom 10 and sinking....

oh, his war on terrorism, .......joke; who sends troops off to die, or get maimed and leaves the borders open for the enemy to come in?

Shrub was a terrible president; just like his “Pops” old read my lips.

The Bushes have always been globalists. I believe Bush One and Bush Two got this country into more trouble and more debt than Billy Clinton ever did!

The media takes anything anyone says about any subject.....if they can turn it in a negative against Trump, they will.

There is no group more uncivil than the radical left.....but folks blame Trump for it all the time. Alinsky tactics, 101. Just make crap up and blame the other guy for what you in fact are doing.

McCain would have been a disaster (and still is!).

I still assert that we dodged a bullet when Obama beat McCain.

For all the bad that Obama did, if McBrainCancer had won, the vast majority of the world would be smoldering and radioactive.

He operated terrorist training camps, at least one of which featured an airliner as a training aid.

I am so sorry I ever voted for him. That coke snorting skull and bones ass is a traitor to America as is his CIA dad.

Totally disgusted the way he said that Americans must accept globalism and reject white supremacy. Like if you want a normal nation and enjoy it, that makes you a white supremacist.

Obama worst ever., Clinton, carter, Kennedy, FDR, and Wison, all worse than Bush. Bush sent the military to rid the planet of at least 100,000 plus Muslims.

Agreed. He's a globalist, a coward, and a traitor. Him, his like minded daddy, bill klintoon, and the kenyan. They've had all those years to infect our political system.

If you bend a tree and let it grow like that, can you straighten it out once it matures?

That's about the way I feel about America.
