While, I totally agree that Islam is the culprit in so many terrorist acts (and it’s a despicable theocracy), this law seems to be a violation of freedom of speech & expression. And it violates freedom of religion concepts in Western Civ.

All of us who believe in LIBERTY and individual rights should theoretically reject this law.

Having said that, there’s a sense of relief with this law because I don’t trust someone who can’t show their face to society and wears bulky clothing that could conceal a suicide bomber vest.

But I know my sense of relief is not founded in proper ethics because we’re supporting suppression of speech/expression.

If freedom of expression (speech) includes doing suicide bombings, of course, there are laws in place.

Which we can all agree are ineffectual --- i.e. does not prevent the abuse by the criminally bent; the ones who pay the price, often with their life might actually have a different take on "my liberty trumps..."
