The House has passed a lot of nothing or 1% bills knowing that McConnell will not permit them to pass in the Senate. The 60% rule should, pf course, be done away with. Nothing will improve, though, because the number of Republican senators who vote “no” will then increase sufficiently to make up for the loss of the filibuster but we will know who more of them are.

The People do not want Obamacare repealed, and the Republicans in Congress know that perfectly well.
There are only two things the People hate about Obamacare - the name, and paying for it.
So, the GOP proposes to change the name, and pay for it by borrowing and printing money.

Assh9le Republicans are pis8ed because Trump never paid his dues or worked his way up from dogcatcher to senator to President. As I've been putting it since his nomination, the career politicians hate him because he did not pay his party dues, get in line and wait his turn.

Some have refused to act out of a dislike of President Trump. Others never meant the things they said during their campaigns and never expected to have their bluff called. I can't imagine this situation being allowed to persist if the 17th amendment were repealed.

Yep, but thanks for the civics lesson anyway. Are you pleased with the performance of our Republican House leadership?

Republicans are blowing it Headline nominee for Understatement of the Century.
Republicans are blowing it because they're not even republicans.
To: Kaslin
Republicans are NOT on our side.
They’re in it for their own financial and power gains as democrats are.
When theyr appear to fight, it’s only WWE .
To: Kaslin
Republicans are blowing itBS. They are getting things done EXACTLY as they want: Stopping Trump, helping Democrats, and defending liberal legislation.
They may even get their ultimate prize: Impeaching and removing Trump.

The Republican House has most bills passed.
It’s all theater. The House wastes time passing bills they know the Senate will never pass just to give themselves personal political cover.

Yes, you can.
The body of government is a single entity.
The right hand of government is not in any way opposed to the left hand of government.
They want you to think the right hand is opposed to the left hand, but that isn’t the case.
Both hands work to benefit the body.
Stop believing the kabuki theater.

It’s not theater, It’s factual, why don’t you check it out. If you can show the opposite, than proof it.

If you have a RINO senator than vote him or her out. Same with a Rino House member. But understand, just because you don't like your senator or House member does not make them RINOs. You have to look at the entire picture. How do they vote most of the time. Do they vote mostly with the party or against the party, in other words with the rats and against the president and the good for the people?
BTW Both my senators are RINOs. The one that is up for reelection is not running (Thank God and the other one is not up for reelection, but you can be sure I will vote against him. But if you think that I will vote for some third party candidate who has no chance whatsoever. You better think again.
The same goes for a rat candidate. I have never voted for a rat candidate and never will.
I hope I made myself clear.

When Bush had a similar hand to play, he did nothing with it, either. Republicans used to talk a great game but don’t even do that now. It’s like the car-chasing dog who finally caught the car. He has no idea what to do with it, so he humps the tailpipe.
