Border wall prototype construction wrapping up

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Contractors working on the border wall prototypes have a week to finish their models.

10News got a tour of the construction site on Wednesday morning. Construction started on Sept. 26.

The illegals from the Far East as I understand it come in on a legal visa but don’t leave. And they now represent a large number each year and some say possibly a larger number than the southern border illegals

Manual profiling should hinge on appearance and accent. After that, it's "your papers please".

Technology is really advancing, to address visa overstays.

The biometric system being tested now (and will be rolled out over 2018) will capture photos. The ability of Artificial Intelligence applications to recognize faces is now (just recently) better than humans.

Law enforcement systems could soon link up with a variety of cameras (like at toll booths, maybe ATMs, even iPhones), to enable constant automated searching for the faces of visa overstays. China is probably ahead of us on this right now, but they have done it by hiring Western companies to develop it.
