14th Amendment basically says that all “persons” in the US have the same rights of citizens. (The wording was used because Southern states tried to deny citizenship to freedmen). Of course the “right” to an abortion was created by our betters on the Supreme Court.
Now where the “right” to a taxpayer-funded abortion comes from, I have no idea. Taxpayers aren’t required to fund my right (a right that is actually mentioned in the Constitution) to a firearm.
