Anyone within a mile of libertarianism on the political spectrum will dry-heave upon reading this but I admire the cunning behind his pander. Moore could have gone with a tried-and-true call to arrest all flag-burners, as theres a large audience receptive to that argument within the GOP, but it wouldnt have been topical. Nationalists would appreciate it but itd have no bite. Suggesting that the Kaepernicks of the world are guilty of a federal offense while the debate over NFL anthem protests is raging, though?

He didn’t have to say that. He should be able to slide into office by toning it down.
Hoping this guy doesnt go full Todd Akin.....if he shuts up he will win in a landslide.
NFL Players Who Refuse To Stand For The Anthem Are Breaking The Law, You Know
He’s channeling Trump!
Watch the heads on the left explode. :)
Moore’s wrong. People are free to be total jerks in the country... Of course we’ll bankrupt the NFL... but we’re free to do that too.
He’s perilously close to jumping the shark. Law? What law? Are we going to start hauling people to jail because they don’t stand for the national anthem?
And this guy was a judge?
I think that ship sailed when he said America deserved 9/11.
The players have a Constitutional right to protest the way they do.
Blaming the whole country is foolishly inappropriate, but the players have the right to do so.
There is a policing problem, but the players’ unpatriotic actions aren’t the right way to solve it.
Better police training is needed.
The players might fund a study that lists the errors that were made by police and the way those errors could have been prevented.
In Florida armed civilians have the duty to retreat from danger if possible. If an officer backing up 10 feet would avoid a death then maybe it should be required by law.
WTF, dude?
You’re bringing facts into the discussion. You know that’s not allowed.
Words have meanings, but evidently you are not familiar with the legal meaning of the word “should”.
A former judge however “should” be.
6 more weeks to screw up. Will it happen?
Hah!
I had no idea this law existed.
Welp, I just got educated. Thanks!
Naw, he's essentially wrong in at least 2 ways -
1) The language of the law says "should", not "must" or "shall".
2) Even if it did say "must" or "shall" it would be a violation of the First Amendment.
Moore is going to lose if he keeps this up. Fact is, a Republican should be leading by double digits at this point. Embarassing....
Well, they ain’t doing what they “should” do, and the law says they “should” do this, so I’d say that they are in violation of this law.
