It's a fairly good approximation of Hell... where God is rejected, children are fodder, selfish passions rule, and people are destroyed by their own devices.
There are rumors it was Charlie Sheen, 6 years older than the Coreys, who molested Haim. Goodness knows he’s dealing with demons so perhaps he was moletested when he was a child, too. All those kids and young adults from that era are messed up.
Corey Feldman (14) starred with Kerry Green (18), the red headed girl in The Goonies. She starred in Lucas the following year with Corey Haim (14) and Charlie Sheen (21). She should know something. Haim said he was raped during Lucas by a man (Sheen was 21) and by another man at another point in time but that the time during Lucas was what started his troubles.

Feldman and Brascia starred together in Friday the Thirteenth (1985). Brascia was Joey, the overweight slow guy who ate chocolate.
Angus T. Jones, the kid on Two and a Half Men, went on a rampage about how filthy the show was. At the time, it seemed he was angry with much more than the show.

Haim’s ex gf, Alysa Milano, texted out this week for the women victims to speak out but she failed to be a voice for Haim. Children are much more vulnerable than adult women.

Didn’t we all love those movies. The movies were cute. The kids were cute. But, I had a hard time watching them back then because, even as naïve as I was, something oozed off the screen that wasn’t right. Years later, the horrible true came out.
The women speaking out against Weinstein should also be speaking out about the kids. Odds are, they were molested long before Weinstein.
It is interesting to notice that on the Cast of the movie, “Giant”, Rock Hudson was the lead, both Sal Mineo and James Dean were converted by gay older men.

Speaking of the movie “Exodus”, the young actress who played the pretty blonde girl Karen was Jill Haworth, who was fifteen during the making of the film and acc. to Wikipedia, at that time she lost her virginity to co-star Sal Mineo in a NY hotel room. Just an example of the abuse of children in the film industry. Jill Haworth later broke up with Mineo when she learned he was having an affair with Bobby Sherman, a teen actor whose records I remember buying at the time and who was on the cover of the teen mags I as a teen female remember buying.

According to what I've read, it's been going on since the nascent days of the early studios, none of this is new.
Harvey Weinstein has been getting away with sexual assault for decades - an "open secret" in Hollywood, and it was even written into his contract.
He must have pissed off someone very powerful for this to come to light after all these years.
