Think of the quality and quantity of ‘toe jam’ that woman carries. The poor orthopod or podiatrist who has to examine that stump. And consider the Viet Nam woman who gives her a ‘mani-pedi’. (I have only recently learned the term mani-pedi. No doubt I have drained perirectal accesses less objectionable.

I wondered that as well. I came to believe it read 'Sectetary of State' around the perimeter. This photo confirms it.Yes, I was just looking at that. Except that one can see that the lettering corresponds, but the emblem is at variance. I can only guess that this is an ERSATZ seal, designed to play on her tenure as Secretary of State under Obama. The emblem itself seems to me to resemble the torch on the reverse side of a US dime.
