That’s always been my take as well. Then I read about how far left they were and i go back to my personal take that there is no winning in the middle east only temporary wins.
This is a typical middle east play:Kurds,marginally the good guys,Turks bad to the bone,Iraq— puppets of Iran,Iran— fomentors of terrorism everywhere.
So who are the good guys and what side do we take in yet another middle eastern cluster.

What if he truly wants to fulfill the deep state commitment made by soros for sheer chaos throughout the world as much as possible.

It surely wasn't the highlight of the day. It sort of prevents the drivebys from slamming Trump on a variety of topics if they key in on bad left wing players. Besides, I think they have figured out if they don't run away from this no telling how may gals may come out of the woodwork accusing how any different hollyweird guys who are in a position of authority.

Could really backfire on them. Already they have Clooney and a few others on the backbench.
