“Ultimately, they don’t believe in anything because they have never taken the time to thoughtfully consider what they actually believe.”
Post-Modernism, Neo-Darwinism, Nihilism and the spirituality of Buddhism have all but removed God from consideration. All of which eliminate objective truth from the equation. This, IMHO, is where the battle will be waged.”

The biggest difference between my generation and the snowflakes is that the teachers, pastors and civic leaders all reinforced the ideals and beliefs taught by our parents.
God, country, family and community came first. By serving those first one ended up satisfying oneself.

Kicking God off school property was the modern liberals master stroke.

“The parents of young Johnny and Jane are demanding “special considerations” and have created this bubble of protection for their little snowflakes with their new found wealth and influence like never before.”

My dad loved coaching Little League baseball.
He eventually quit because the parents of the kids without a shred of physical ability demanded their little darlings get equal playing time, win or lose.
The last straw was when the local teams announced they would be awarding participation trophies.
He got up, walked out and never looked back.

In a sad way I am glad he isn’t here to see the present NFL fiasco.

“The “Government” jumps in to solve a problem and/or provide a solution but almost always creates another set of problems.”

The law of unintended consequences.
“Gentlemen, we have to protect our phoney baloney jobs!”
Thank you Mel Brooks.

“On one hand, I would think that a massive expansion of economic opportunities, jobs, wealth and purpose can overcome many of our social challenges, and on the other, it will create even more wealthy idle hands that will demand our government “Do Something” about all the things that annoy them in their meaningless lives.”

IMVHO more wealth won’t do it.
Our prosperity as a nation is what got us to this point.

I believe we are going to need a massive government melt down rending the government unable to satisfy anyone’s needs or wants.
As long as people can believe In government they will refuse to believe in God.

It would be tough times but eggs must be broken to make an omelette.

It’s the journey toward prosperity and knowledge that teaches us, the journey that builds character, respect, honor and thoughtfulness.

There are no shortcuts.

There is something to be said about human nature. The innate desire to seek answers and explore the unknown. We are hard-wired to ask “Why”, and for some reason there are more and more people willing to accept answers from so-called experts rather than taking the time to understanding things on their own.

I would occasionally ask my liberal ex-girl, “What do you own?”, “What do YOU know to be true?”. I was verbally and at times physically attacked for just asking. At some point I would make a game of this simply for my own entertainment. I would send her into a state of cognitive dissonance just to watch her reactions. If you’ve never seen it, it can be extraordinary, the uncontrolled facial twitches and physical expression that was usually followed by wicked verbal assaults and/or a physical attack. I did this for fun.

As I stated earlier;

The battle being waged and the real war is between objective and subjective truth.
