Can you imagine the outrage from the left if a white author suggested the only solution to racial issues was to exterminate all blacks?

The black community also has, compared to whites, a relative surplus of gangs: habitual, even violent, criminals who not only prey on their neighbors making their lives as much a hell as they can but recruit their kids into frequently shorter lives of crime as well.

(They are not the first group to have such an issue either)

That has quite a lot to do with the persistence of any gap in income for it keeps whole communities blighted.

You have a hard enough time building generational wealth when outsiders loot / burn down your neighborhood, never mind when your own NEIGHBORS loot / burn down your neighborhood.

That's OK, I'm not here to GAF about Coates or why he's here. The "you" in this article refers, of course, to liberals who might give a fig.

I do not revel in, live in, base my values on, seek my path on, have my hopes in either the sins or the victories of my father.

Every age is an age remade by those that occupy it.

You can live in the past and keep it a hurt for yourself if you want to, or you can join with others everywhere looking to dump the past into the dustbin of history. “Race” relations have to that, because to live otherwise is to live in the mind of the leftist author that thinks NOTHING will ever “repay” for the sins of the past and thus no healing is really possible, to him.
