When I got out of the military, I insisted on my own place. I had had quite enough of barracks life, with farting butt-scratching men in t-shirts all around. I rented a tiny run-down apartment for a while until I got myself on my financial feet but no way was I taking on a roommate!
Military young enlisted men are a different situation. You did the right thing when you got out.
I too lived in a tiny apartment until I got my feet on the ground.
As I get older I see more clearly than I ever did not only what is right and proper but why it is so.
Same here. I don’t care if I have to live on Ramen noodles. No roommate.
