Reminds me of what is going on in Wisconsin. After Walker announced he was running for reelection - a parade of midgets has come out to announce they are running as Democrats. No serious candidates (if they have any) have announced. Just obscure, absurd, gonna get steamrollered also-rans. The Foxconn announcement sort put it away for Walker, only fools would enter the race against him.
There is no perversion the Democrats don’t support—they just have to make the tactical decision whether they want to do so publicly.
