(Christian News Alerts) – Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria, and relief efforts have been slowed down by the physical barriers of flooding, fallen trees, and destroyed infrastructure. The limited movement caused by these challenges has led to accusations of negligence by detractors of the Trump administration.

Internal issues with Puerto Rican elected officials is also hindering the recovery work. According to the Daily Caller, the US federal prosecutor in Puerto Rico is now investigating government officials who did not deliver hurricane relief to the island’s residents. There is even a case of one Puerto Rican politician who was hoarding relief supplies exclusively for the people who “voted for that person.”

This news strengthens claims that the federal government is working professionally to restore basic needs and quality of life to the Puerto Rican people in as orderly a way as possible, but that on-the-ground factors make recovery challenging.

From The New Yorker: The Mayor of San Juan on Trump’s “Big Mouth” and What Puerto Rico Needs...The New Yorker in anti-Trump fashion..."Yulín, as she is known, has earned international renown since Hurricane Maria for criticizing Donald Trump’s lackadaisical response to the catastrophe. then called President Trump's rebuttal "petty".

Another source told Rodriguez that a local elected official was hiding supplies meant for the general public, keeping them away for residents “who had voted for that person.” I think it is safe to say Puerto Rico's culture was/is showing.....POTUS acted as a leader should....he is not responsible for Puerto Rico's political culture....however, we all might keep in mind how some of the people behaved in that bankrupt territory during Maria when it comes to voting on statehood again.

How do you know how people voted? It’s a US territory and we have a secret ballot.

I read or heard somewhere they are also air dropping supplies to
locations that have access problems due to roads, etc being out.

Interesting... I did three scans on it with Mcafee, Norton, and Virus Total. All three came back clean. What was the name of the malware?

Answer: The Latino culture that doesn’t stick its neck out for anything or anyone other than themselves. Simon Bolivar figured that out in his later years of trying to fashion change after the US model.

Funny how there was active enough infrastructure to get the mayor of San Juan her pre-printed teeshirts.

It’s most likely an ad.

Don’t click on it and get better anti-virus protection.

The company I work for has a site in PR. We were able to repair and start restoring operations more quickly than what was being communicated in the media.

Our logistics, ops & distribution network did not immediately go back to supplying customers but supported FEMA efforts on the island. Our PR associates are dedicated professionals that prepared and performed well after the storm.

KATRINA and that STUPID NOLA mayor who needed special access to his home so he could make sure his money in his frig was safe.

I believe this is your typical dimwit Democrat criminal. At least Ray Nagin is in jail. I wonder if he gets any perks being a former mayor or gets unusual treatment because of his abuse of his office while mayor.

Let people die, so a stupid mayor can check on hidden cash from the IRS is okay.

Maybe the Mayor of San Juan is headed for a ladies correctional facility somewhere...

At some point, I would not mind President Trump to invoke RICO if there is too much obstruction of Justice by dimwit Democratic politicians.
