That first reporter who tried to get the story published deserves some credit. She was very brave at the time. But when the story was rejected she just let it drop. She could have at least attempted to leak the story, letting someone else get it out there. She wouldn't get credit for her work, but she would have saved many victims from being assaulted by Weinstein the Sexual Predator.

Sharon Waxman, who founded The Wrap. I'd go easy on her. She did what she thought she could. Had she done what you suggest it would have destroyed her career and likely had no impact on Weinstein.
