This is not the modern equivalent of Woodward and Bernstein exposing Watergate. Harvey was the poorly concealed vulgar elephant in the Hollywood room. Not exactly a startling discovery. Ronan was threatened with a lawsuit if he printed an article. Big deal. That happens all the time too.

I think Ronan wants to use this event as a vehicle for more face time on camera. Do what you gotta do to stay famous, Ronan. I guess you see that trashing Woody Allen in the press only takes you so far.

I really think that in this case it was personal with Ronan. He hated Weinstein for saving Woody Allen's career after Allen tore Mia Farrow's family apart.
