We can take over the party.

*************

I respectfully disagree. Yes, we can primary a person here and there but its illusory progress. After Cantor was gone, what has changed within the party? If anything, its gotten even worse.

The reality is that the party bows to big money. That’s what drives it. Further, there’s a deeply ingrained culture of appeasement and a disturbing lack of conviction in the party. They talk conservative just before elections but revert to Swamp sustainment mode immediately upon arriving back in Washington.

The GOP is arguably at its lowest point in history. Their polling numbers are incredibly low. And rightly so. The GOP controlled congress has done nothing for nine months, except find new ways to obstruct the agenda that we voted for. Well, that and going on frequent congressional “breaks” during times of national crisis.

My view is that the party is compromised beyond repair. We keep hoping, and they keep stabbing us in the back.

I completely agree with your assessment.
The GOP as currently represented by so many weasels is corrupt. I had expected other districts to follow our lead and dump their weasels.
It was disappointing that none occurred before Moore took down Strange.
The ball is rolling now, Flake is shaky at best. Wicker is in trouble in MS.
Taking over the GOP is easier than starting an new party.
It’s going to be a long term process, Trump cannot drain the swamp.
WE have to do that.
WE are the only ones who can stop electing weasels who backstab us and cater to illegal aliens.
