I believe Trump would be more effective if competition were returned to the media market place by repealing the legislation that requires cable subscribers to subsidize channels that they do not watch.
Many channels would fail if they didn’t receive payments from cable providers whose subscribes cannot choose the channels they subscribe to but must choose and subsidize a long list of channels with their monthly fees.
Let each channel fail or survive on its own merits including PBS.
Cable and TV watchers could in essence effectively “take a knee” and protest programming that they object to by not watching it. End cable company subsidies.
