It goes back to the lower courts to start the merry-go-round again, because it was replaced by a new version. From a link on Drudge:
"We express no view on the merits," the justices said in a one-page order.
The challengers in both cases already have renewed their lawsuits in the lower courts, starting the legal process anew. In Maryland, a federal district court has scheduled a new hearing for next week.

the real victory is that ALL of the lower court adjudications of the previous ban have been rendered moot, i.e., they never existed, therefore no precedents have been set and none of the decisions can be used in future suits.
