He isn’t even a good person, IMO. He is petty and vengeful.
I witnessed that once. He "tore into" an older Navy submarine vet who questioned him at a press conference. Out and out lied, and in a demeaning manner. And that's putting in nicely. In modern-speak, he's a "virtue signaling jerk!"
