Will you still feel this way if the NFL comes out tmw and mandates the policy?

I haven’t watched an NFL game all season, but if they came out and apologized, then mandated respect for the flag by all players who wish to play in any given game, I’d reconsider.

It could serve as a victory and lesson for the future. “Remember when the NFL allowed players to disrespect the flag and anthem? Remember how the country reacted?”

Why let these leftists take away another tradition? Don’t forget that the vast majority of players, coaches, and staff stand for the anthem with their hands over their hearts.

It wouldn’t make much difference to me because they have already exposed what is in their hearts. You cannot unplay that song.

I would forgive the nfl if:
1 the league requires everyone to stand and salute the flag during the anthem;
2 the NFL gives 1 million to a charity benefiting the widows and children of police killed in the line of duty;
3 the NFL requires each team to contribute $500,000 to that charity.
