Security guard shot before concert shooting began
On Monday, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo announced a change to the sequence of events that occurred on Oct. 1, saying a security guard who encountered Paddock was actually shot at 9:59 p.m. local time, minutes before the 64-year-old unleashed a hail of gunfire on unsuspecting concertgoers.
Previously, authorities had said that the security guard, Jesus Campos, was shot after Paddock had opened fire on the crowd below.
Lombardo said Campos immediately reported to hotel security that he had been shot. However, responding officers did not know Campos had been shot until they arrived on the 32nd floor and encountered him, Lombardo said.
It's unclear what ultimately led Paddock to stop shooting at the people below. Officials had originally thought that Campos distracted him.

Well that is where it starts to get murky.
It wasnt the news,it was the Sheriff.
From all we have been told there is absolutely no reason to believe a federal crime has been committed.
58 cases of murder.
500+ cases of assault with a deadly weapon.
Denial of political or religious terror motive.
No explosives constructed or used.
No transport across state lines.
No conspiracy across state lines.
Nothing nefarious with the money.
Nothing.
THEN WHY THE EFF IS THE FBI IN CHARGE!?!?!?!?!?
He was pumped up on adrenaline. Sometimes it takes a while before your body realizes how bad it’s hurt because of that.
The Sherrif came out swinging too! He was not taking any crap or lack of decorum, as he put it , from the reporters. i loved when he said so Stop adking your question.
The fbi is not in charge.
Youre full of crap.
The door that sending the ‘ajar’ signal was, according to one report, down the hall a few doors.
Maybe the shooter wanted to lure the security guard in to take him out of action before the shooting spree so that he would not be interrupted in the middle of it, before actual police arrived. Was there only one security guard?
I’ve been reading about the Saudi’s buying MGM casinos just before the ‘08 crash and having the top 4 floors of the Mandalay Bay at their disposal. I’m interested in learning from the coroner what Paddock’s time of death was. Something isn’t adding up, is it?
Now the Sheriff did say there was no evidence of terrorist involvement or terrorist ideology. We’ll take that with a grain of salt.
If he doesnt want questions, he shouldnt hold press conferences.
What a putz.
Well the sherrif was miffed reporters tried to ask questions before he was finished answering them. I will finish he kept saying.
With the FBI involved, everything must be questioned.
I think the top floors may be The Four Seasons which is the ritzier section of Mandalay Bay. Interesting how four seasons has skated.
Autopsy complete. No info will be released.

sEE MY #103.
See my #103.
One of my ex-girlfriends had an autistic son. We had to install window film that would prevent the glass from shattering (he would bang his head on anything close when triggered); it seemed pretty crazy to me when this first happened they wouldn’t have something similar. Cheap, and effective. Blunt force wouldn’t compromise the glass, but a piercing object(think pickaxe)would. With a decent film bullets would certainly penetrate but not break up the whole sheet of glass. I’m not suggesting anything other than the hotel not having something of that sort would baffle me.
Form 4’s are taking 9-12 months currently.

If Paddock had an escape plan, it would have been much easier to run up the fire escape a few floors to The Four Seasons than try to run down 32 flights before the cops started coming up the stairwells. But he would likely need an accomplice up there helping him out.
The Four Seasons has Saudi ownership and is where Saudis like to stay in Vegas. They must have numerous Muslim employees versed in how to accommodate devout Muslim guests. And Saudis have a practice of hiring Filipinos as help.
