That is, any recovery will be delayed a generation. I used to be a baseball fanatic in my youth, until the original players’ strike in the, what was it, the early 1980’s? I dropped the sport and never looked back. In recent years I may catch maybe 2 or 3 games on TV a year, but the thrill is not there.
