Yea, Carter wants to resolve the situation like he did during Bill Clinton’s presidency. We still have the problem so he obviously wasn’t successful then. Carter would just propose giving the NKs what they want and the problem would still exist. Carter is a waste of time.
Yep! Appeasement was the name of the game for these guys. Now President Trump has a major mess on his hands.

His brand of Christianity states that the Bible contains the word of God. Not the Bible is the word of God. So he has no problem throwing out anything in the Bible that he disagrees with. They are called “Moderate Baptists”, which are a lot like other mainline groups that espouse views that directly contradict the written Word. Carter went on his own and negotiated the agreement that promised to give NK a bunch of stuff, and in exchange we wouldn’t look into whether NK was creating nuclear weapons.
