CBS apparently made up the story about Kaepernick would stand if he becomes a player again.

Apparently, not only are ticket sales hurting but DOLLARS for the companies broadcasting the games are LOSING BIG BUCKS.

CBS had to quickly retract the story. Colin Kaepernick claimed he was never asked about that in the interview.

Sounds like CBS was trying to do something to stop the FATAL BLEEDING over this.

Finally, the companies that own ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC are committed to pay the NFL a fixed amount -- no matter what -- even if people stop viewing the games. No skin off the NFL's nose.

Jerry Jones saying what he did may be an affirmation of this.

There’s carry over into 2018 big time, from everything from sonsorship, branding, endorsements, player advertising past and present. They have defamed themselves.

The ratings affect revenue and if the ratings drop the NFL has to give back money to the advertisers
