The U.S. Embassy in Ankara on Oct. 8 announced that it had suspended all non-immigrant visa services at its diplomatic facilities in Turkey.
"Recent events have forced the United States Government to reassess the commitment of the Government of Turkey to the security of US Mission facilities and personnel. In order to minimize the number of visitors to our Embassy and Consulates while this assessment proceeds, effective immediately we have suspended all non-immigrant visa services at all U.S. diplomatic facilities in Turkey," the Embassy said in a statement issued on its Twitter account.

According to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutors Office, Topuz is accused of talking on the phone with Zekeriya Öz, a fugitive former prosecutor who was dismissed from his post, and four former Gülenist police officers, Yakup Saygılı, Nazmi Ardıc, Mahir Cakallı and Mehmet Akif Uner, before the December 2013 graft probes.
The Turks just did the same to us, within the last few minutes.
The calm before the storm?
“Amazing in that the corrupt news media found only this whiner.”
Erdogan is an insane muslim.
Interesting.
Why stop there?
Turkey accepts immigrants from the US?
American pastor Andrew Brunson has been wrongfully detained in Turkey for over six months now. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is at least one of the reasons we’ve taken this action.

U.S. mission to Turkey suspends visa services for security reasons
Oopps. Forget that article. It was from 2016.
My bad.
I searched by date, but it gave old result.
No, I was mistaken. This is from today, the article is current, but the picture used is not.
It is current news backup from what you posted from Twitter.
what are non immigrant visa services?
Just a wild guess, but maybe things like tourist and student visas?
Why not ALL visa services?
Boohoo, the Turks need the tourists more than we need their sht.
Does this mean Turks in the US must leave? I know one.
One of the top three ‘best days of my life’ was the day we left the shit-hole called Turkey. Thankfully, our efforts to cut their FMF (Foreign Military Financing) from roughly $15 million/year to ZERO was successful before they had a chance to figure out who was behind it.
I thought there were some nice cities in Turkey such as Ismir.
