That law was in place 25 years ago when I had to strip my weapon just to travel through Illinois going from Indiana to Wisconsin.
exactly- states have turned the second amendment right to carry into ‘You may carry your gun but only in pieces’ or ‘locked away’ somewhere- Had you been a victim of a carjacking- heaven forbid- you would not have been able to defend yourself
