If the basic premis of the would be gun grabbers is they want to make it impossible for someone to commit murder on such a scale....well then, they’ve got their work cut out for them. First, they will have to prove, not hope, that murderers willing to break dozens of other laws will obey theirs. Also prove that while you can get virtually any banned item here, a mass murderer wouldn’t be able to get illegal firearms. But then, if they really are serious about preventing mass murder, not just looking for an excuse to disarm us... They’ll have to end private pilots licenses, end general aviation. No more truck rentals, bye bye uhaul and Ryder. No more recreational use of any body of water used as a drinking supply. ... and a whole host of other things too. Even then, some creative whack job will still find a way to kill wholesale - if it isn’t our own government doing it to us at that point...
Simple. Declare every man, woman and child to be insane until proven sane by a medical board of examiners.
Problem is who will certify the examiners to be sane. And who will certify those who examine the examiners.
Who will watch the watchers!
