Pretty easy to figure that out by studying the recording in more detail. Echoes have a signature different than sound that arrived directly through airborne propagation.

And of course they have a fixed relationship in time, and usually in amplitude, to the original source sound. So for a recording from a fixed position of a sound emanating from a fixed position the echoes will have a fixed temporal relationship to the original sounds.

Given the large scale geometry of the area it is probably possible to infer the location of the original sound source or sources from the echo patterns.

Do you realize that you have seen many, many, many DIFFERENT smart phone recordings from many different locations at differing times. The recorded characteristics/sounds of the shots (and their echos) would vary with the acoustics associated with the specific “operator” locations of each of the differing video recording events, they would vary with the quality/characteristics/settings of each smart phone and they would vary with which weapon was being fired at the time of the specific recordings.

IMHO, assumption is still the mother of all “foul” ups as Mama used to say...using slightly less clean language. As ‘Kaslin’ said, let’s be careful with the conspiracy theories.
