Your point is well taken. The vast majority of gun purchases result in nobody dying. The vast majority of abortions result in at least one death.
That's the point of the comparison.
If the quote is trying to equate gun buyer vs. abortion, then you have to use equal standards. But they can't, because a 15 yr old boy canNOT legally buy a gun, at least not w/o parental permission. But a 15 yr old girl CAN legally have an abortion, no parents involved.
