“Sometimes when I try to understand a persons motives, I play a little game. I assume the worst. Whats the worst reason they could possibly have for saying what they say and doing what they do. Then I ask myself: how well does that reason explain what they say and what they do?”
Alfred Pennyworth: “Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
These words may be from a movie, but it makes them no less true and I am surpised how many don’t believe that there are such people in the world.
