I did not say it was a one size fits all solution. The whole point of the article and our comments were about able bodied people who were not working. I am glad that you were able to vent at all of us about our “misunderstanding” and misquote of the Bible.
Since I was talking about able bodied people, and Paul was talking about able bodied people, I pretty much stopped really reading after you slammed my little joke.
“I pretty much stopped really reading”
It didn’t keep you from replying though, just kept you from listening.
The wise take correction and learn.
Fools despise correction. They do not hear rebuke.
It does not keep them from opening their mouths. You can take the time to misspeak the Word of God. You can take time to answer a matter before you hear it. But you can not take time to listen or heed to the Word of God which you apparently despise.
Proverbs 12:1
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge,
But he who hates correction is stupid.
Proverbs 30:6
Do not add to His words,
Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
The world is full of proud, arrogant, unrepentant fools bound for hell. They despise correction and warnings from God. They are self-righteous. But they are often very religious. They can quote the Bible, or misquote it. But they really only are interested in using it to confirm what they want to believe rather than being instructed by it. It’s a real shame when they identify as Christian conservatives.
