Do what? Like she had a choice? Too many people watching for her now and noway any government is going to hold her after something like this happened. I’m sure she can afford a lawyer with that 100K that was wired to her.

If she has any connection with islamists, radicals of Chinese organized crime (Triads, Tongs), then the Philippines Government under Duterte would likely snatch her up and turn her over toot sweet.

Duterte is at war (literally) with islamists over the city of Marawi on Mindanao - and the US is providing critical military assistance.

Duterte is at war (literally) with drug cartels in the Philippines - who are mainly run by Chinese mafia. Duterte is famous for running death squads against those guys - he famously (extra-judicially) killed over a thousand while he was Mayor of Davao on Mindanao, and now he has loosed the federal police and military against them. The US under Obama opposed him on this, under Trump, we are allies.

Radicals in the Philippines are organizing hi-vis demonstrations against Duterte in Manila.

If this lady is connected with any of these groups (deadly enemies of Duterte, and arguably, the Philippines), Duterte would be eager to hand her over, and have the US hammer come down on them. Duterte doesn’t trouble himself (at all) with legal niceties - he is an exceptionally bold man of action in combating those groups. He would send in the Marines to drag her out, if that was necessary.
