Sounds to me like he’s putting off the Democrats and denying them the fight they want with him.
Now he simply needs to do nothing.
Doesn’t sound like that at all. Sounds like he plans on discussing gun control at some point. If he wanted to put the Democrats off, then he should have kept his mouth shut. We own the White House, Congress, and the USSC. There was no reason at all for him to say that, unless he meant it.
