Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel opened his program Monday with a ten-minute political rant about Sunday’s mass murder in Las Vegas, saying “now is the time for political debate” about gun control. Dismissing as inadequate calls for prayers for the victims by President Donald Trump, House Speaker Paul Ryan, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), the Jimmy Kimmel Live host said: “they should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country.”
Kimmel railed against lawmakers who “won’t do anything about this because the NRA has their balls in a money clip,” insisting that their “thoughts and your prayers are insufficient.”
The comic responded to those saying there was nothing that could have been done to stop Sunday’s attack. “I disagree with that intensely,” Kimmel said, “because of course there’s something we can do about it.”

They do understand. They just don’t agree with it and wish it didn’t exist. This does cut to the bottom line, they need to push to change the constitution, not just be selective on their respect for it.

Please stop saying stupid stuff like machine guns are illegal. Maybe for you, if you live in a slave state like NO, MY, IL, M.D., MA, CA etc, but not for those of us in the free states, and not for the murderer. The ATF has not stated it was a machine gun, and I bet it wasn’t.

There are 30,000 gun related deaths per year by firearms, and this number is not disputed. U.S. population 324,059,091 as of Wednesday, June 22, 2016.
Do the math: 0.000000925% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. Statistically speaking, this is insignificant! What is never told, however, is a breakdown of those 30,000 deaths, to put them in perspective as compared to other causes of death:
• 65% of those deaths are by suicide which would never be prevented by gun laws
• 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and justified
• 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related or mentally ill persons – gun violence
• 3% are accidental discharge deaths
So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000 annually, but drops to 5,100.

Let's look at how are those 5,000 deaths are allocated across the country?
480 homicides (9.4%) were in Chicago
344 homicides (6.7%) were in Baltimore
333 homicides (6.5%) were in Detroit
119 homicides (2.3%) were in Washington D.C. (a 54% increase over prior years)
So technically, 25% of all gun crime happens in just four cities. All four of those cities have strict gun control laws, are run by Democrats, have high Black Population, high political corruption and high crime. Liberals would have you believe the Gun is the cause for all these problems.

Mass murderers in America are almost always Democrats. As is the Vegas killer. And the Democrat leadership are currently egging the killers on.

I remember when I used to like Kimmell & watched his show.
