Celebrities took to social media Monday morning just hours after the tragic Las Vegas mass shooting to call for increased gun control measures.
Breitbart News reported that the attack occurred while country music singer Jason Aldean was playing and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified the attacker as 64-year-old Stephen Craig Paddock. He opened fire on concert-goers from an elevated positionthe 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. LVMPD SWAT members burst into Paddocks room Sunday night and found him dead.
Michael Ian Black tweeted:

kiss my @ss!
Actors/Actresses = professional liars
don’t care what they want.
We have lots of gun control.
It didn’t stop this shooting and more gun control won’t stop other future shootings.
Conservatives won’t give up anything to fight them, they buy their movies, watch their news shows, watch their tv shows, football games.
but it is a great idea.
And they all perform with armed security
These are the same celebs with armed bodyguards and massive security at their award shows?
Some dead old white guy who helped found this country said,”you won’t need the 2nd amendment until they try to take it away from you.”
there’s a clue for you guys in that.
Celebrities! Is there anything they dont know?
Yep, same idiots with armed guards telling US about gun control.
What? No truck or van or machete control? No pressure cooker control???
They really need to get with the times.
Say the hypocrites living in gated communities, being protected by armed body guards, and can afford to live anywhere they wish.

Mayor Rahm’s Chicago has some of the most and stringent gun control laws in America. Hey celebs, how does your feeble mind explain that city?
How about Democrats unilaterally give up their gun rights and bodyguards for a few years and lets see what happens.
Someone will create a YouTube video recreation but instead of mass panic over 10,000 concert goers pull out concealed weapons and return fire, a few tailgaters get out their sniper rifles and then obviously some Texans open up with their 50bmg and even a 20mm.
Every single window in the Mandalay is shot out but the shooter is suppressed, a few unfortunate guest do get hit but most take cover.
Most importantly the October Revolution has failed.
Trump is still President.
I love Hollywood hypocrites, how about this new Gun Control Law:
All persons that anyone in their employ or employed on their behalf or employed specifically to provide security, Shall be Considered to be in Possession of a Firearm capable of being concealed on ones person.
This will eliminate ALL the Hired Guns Rich Liberal Hypocrites employ to feel safe. There is a Concept under the law called “Constructive Possession” and I think it should Apply to Hired Guns.
No.
These Hollywood idiots can GTH! I’m sick of hearing their uninformed inane blather They should all just stfu. Those with any acting talent should get back to work. And the rest should go flip at mcD’s
In this case we are lucky that congress can’t pass anything, let along gun control tomfoolery.
The ‘celebrities’, politicians etal who think WE should be disarmed should set the example by FIRING all their security staffs - especially armed security, turn down ALL security for engagements and book signings, drive their own vehicles and fly coach.
Live with us ‘little people’ for awhile and see what life in real time is like.
I have been ‘armed’ since I was 16 (60+ years) and have NEVER (Military Service doesn’t count) fired my weapon in a non controlled situation BUT it is there when and if I need it.
TWO things in life one should carry—
A weapon & a Parachute.
You will probably never need either BUT if you do, chances are pretty good you will never need it again.
