I’m not sure it was just him. Right before the players realized the anthem was to play SEVERAL Chiefs players took a knee in the end-zone, they were immediately surrounded by a lot of people - I don’t believe most in the stadium would have been able to see them. The camera shots stayed away from them and highlighted this one idiot sitting on the bench.

I wonder if anyone at the game caught a picture of this? It seems like we were having our attention and focus carefully directed.

I caught it on TV at my work. The camera panned the stadium and you could see about 15 Chiefs run to one of the end zones and kneel down. Then, the announcer asked for a moment of silence. The Chiefs made their way to the bench area before the national anthem. A few of them were just walking around oddly during the anthem and Peters was sitting. One of the Chiefs tried to stand in front of the camera to block Peters, but wasn't very successful. The camera caught Peters close up, quite clearly.
