I could see back in the day where post-season was significant. But with today's huge contracts, isn't it basically now a 'drop in the bucket'?

A lot of that contract money includes incentive bonuses for post-season appearances, not just the nominal amount they are given by the NFL for actually playing each post-season game. Those amounts can be significant.

And let's not forget that every play in the NFL is scrutinized relentlessly by the coaches, and there are backups waiting to take each starting spot. No player is secure enough to pull something like this. Carr scrambled, got hit and had the opposing player put a knee into his back as he got up. He has back spasms. It happens.

No player is secure enough to pull something like this.

The league and league owners are scared cr@pless of the infantile black players, and being called racist. All they have to do is say "we don't see a problem" and it's over.

What else would expect them to do, admit their whole league is a fraud?
