For most of the past week, the national narrative has focused on the NFL vs. President Trump. Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch has tried to expand that, a bit.
Lynch, via Darren Rovell of ESPN.com, arrived for Sundays game in Denver wearing a shirt that says Everybody vs. Trump.
Its more recruitment than reality at this point from Lynch, because the President still has plenty of supporters, many of whom have been galvanized by the fight over whether NFL players will stand, sit, or kneel for the national anthem. Lynch was sitting for the anthem before President Trump began to talk and tweet about the issue, and Lynch apparently will not be standing again today.
It is fortunate that Lynch left the Seattle Seahawks for the Raiders. Fans of the Seahawks could not bear to see a player like Lynch sink into he sewer of racial politics and whatever other behavior he has shown capable of cooking up. Maybe he should stick to his mom and those Campbell’s Chunky Soup commercials.
This jack*ss has always been a head case.
The NFL owners seem to think that because they voted for Hillary themselves (or most of them) and because most of the team stadiums are in counties that voted for Hillary, that most fans of professional football share their contempt for Donald Trump.
Wasn't the Oakland line accused of not protecking their QB because he wouldn't kneel last week.
how about: “NFL versus Joe Six Pack”, or “the one percenters vesus Joe Six Pack.”
He sponsors something, lets find it and boycott it so he loses his endorsements
I have not watched the game (I seldom do) but I see where Derek Carr (from Fresno) was injured in today’s game.
Would seem to me that the offensive line threw today’s game. They threw Derek under the bus last week and it is apparent they did it again. They are just more thugs in the NFL.
Hope Derek finds a team that is patriotic next year. The Raiders do not deserve him and his Christian beliefs.
Join me in saying a prayers for Derek Carr.
Stuff is happening with the fans in the stands too. LA Chargers fans were rooting for the opposing team. Announcers were shocked and said they have NEVER seen it happen before.
Things that make you go hmmmmm.
I have an idea. When the opposing team is on offense, the fans in the stands should just start singing “The Star Spangled Banner” so they take a knee.
Nice game, Marshawn. 9 carries for 12 yards and your team loss.
NFL...Not Funny, Losers.
It isn’t funny that you disrespect the American Flag and all that it symbolizes.
I will never watch pro football again unless they apologize publicly and show respect for America.
Bye, bye, nfl suckers.

Yes, the previous game the QB was sacked 4 times and apparently there were “weird” cases when the receivers dropped the ball. If this was intentional (as payback for the QB standing for the anthem) the players may figure that the owner is afraid to do anything to them.
“Unassimilated accidents of history versus Joe Six-Pack”...
