Arrest the shitbag mayor for obstructing the aid effort.

Arrest any teamster who refuses to transport materials for obstructing the aid effort.

Federalize state resources in support of the aid effort.

Shove it up their asses, make it hurt, prosecute to the maximum.

This is not the first nor will it be the last time that a major hurricane or typhoon has hit a US territory with extreme devastation.

And it isn’t the first time that the island leadership has been considerably opposed to the federal administration. Nor is it the first time that local administrations have attempted to turn the disaster to their political advantage.

It is the first time that mainstream media has given credence to these naked attempts to make political hay out of a disaster by island officials. Any previous time that this has been attempted, mainstream media asks the most obvious question: why weren’t you prepared? You knew these storms would happen, why didn’t you protect your citizens with a comprehensive disaster plan that took into account assumed risks?

How many people will be significantly harmed by the media letting politics drive stories this time?

CNN had a long segment showing a reporter going to a medicine distribution point, gathering requested medications, then delivering the medicine to a local hospital. No questions as to why no one at the hospital did this, even though you can see a considerable number of employees standing around.

The reporter ended with ‘the ungainly federal response has caused a total breakdown in the distribution system.’ Really? You passed a UPS truck, a USPS truck on your journey to deliver those ‘badly needed supplies.’ You showed us a military built tent hospital next to a damaged hospital, you passed dozens of taxis...

As distasteful some may find it is to goad people who have suffered such a disaster, the expectation that the federal government will roll in and fix everything is one that can only come from media liars; any rational people knows that this doesn’t happen. Stop being lazy, fix your problems, get in a car and go get the medicines needed. Guess self reliance would be a horrible news story, wouldn’t it?

Puerto Rico should declare its independence, so it can fix its own problems without waiting on Washington.

You can’t get the facts from the MSM. They hate Trump so everything they report is reported to hurt Trump, not present the facts.
