And overall, cancel all work permits for illegal aliens. None. Zip.
Isn't it amazing how we all accept the premise of Plyler v. Doe now?
When the decision was made in 1982 it was considered astonishing and outrageous. I remember hearing it in the car and almost drove off the road. Illegal aliens have a RIGHT to our tax dollars?! They can break into the country and their children get to use our schools, the ones we pay for?! Since when?!
It was an absurd decision that the decrepit leftovers from the Warren court made thinking that it would only affect a few people and places. Instead, it dramatically changed the country in ways the electorate would never have agreed to.
So is it legitimate? And why doesn't someone take up the issue and talk about overruling it with a law?
It can be done in Congress. Anytime.
“Deporting illegal aliens is only solution. For the “kids”, let them finish their current study, as students only, no work permits, then let them and their illegal alien families go home. Class out + 90 days. Anyone staying beyond that should be subject to immediate deportation and permanent bar on ever reentering the US. And overall, cancel all work permits for illegal aliens. None. Zip.”
