Asian = British speak for a Muslim
The only thing these muzzies in the U.K. want to “take out” are the white native born English, Welsh, and Scottish.
They are using “Asian” to describe Middle Easterners, who are actually Caucasian—hence, the same “race” as Europeans—the main difference being that Europeans have a Christian background, and Middle Easterners have a Muslim background.
My impression of actual Asians is that they are civilized people. South Korea and Japan are completely modern civilizations, and I certainly did not feel unsafe when I visited Korea.

Pakistanis—the main problem in the UK—are Caucasians from way back, but also Muslim. And, that’s the prime component of the English version of “Asian.”
I agree that Koreans, Japanese, and Chinese are more socially civilized in general (war behavior of the Japanese being an exception) than the typical Paki Asian.
What is with moozlums? For the most part they are uncivilized loons. If they just remained in their crappy countries being such weirdos (and just murdered each other) who would care? Mainly, they would be something to avoid. What a sick, uncivilized crappy “culture”.
Objects are Oriental, not people.
Meh. Oriental was a perfectly useful term here in the U.S. used to describe the peoples of East Asia who generally have an epicanthic fold. The Brits still use the term to mean this, the last I looked, and use “Asian” to describe someone from the Indian subcontinent.
The term has been ruined by leftist political correctness for political reasons.

Asian is politically correct BritSpeak for Pakistani (muslim), especially in the context of crime. They do it to conflate Pakistanis with Indians (Hindus) so the reader doesnt know for sure that the perp in question is muslim.

I might even be wiling today to visit S. Korea, Japan, and China. As far as the Mideast is concerned, I’d pay a lot to avoid visiting any of that hideous part of the world.
My mother always used the term oriental so I did also. I just found out a few years ago it was racist. Hard to keep up.
